Description
Here is a Whiting & Davis enamel mesh purse. It is newer, not from the 1920’s but has a similar look. The background is black with a hand painted flower in lime green, periwinkle blue and lavender. The back is plain black. It has an embossed silver tone frame with a kiss clasp. The inside is lined with black grosgrain fabric. Stamped inside the frame on both sides is Whiting & Davis Mesh Bags and Made In USA. It measures 5 3/4″ X 3 3/4″. The twisted woven silver shoulder strap measures 29 1/4″. Very nice condition with no dropped links.
