Vintage Evans “Dance” Compact Wristlet Purse

This is a fun vintage Evans compact that has several interesting features. It is a two tone metal purse and the colors are gold and copper color. The handle is goldtone mesh. Both sides are the same on the outside and the design is slight wavy look . It has a fastener on both sides of the purse. The one side is empty and can be used to carry identification and other small items. The other side has a mirror and a spot to carry a small comb. It also has a coin holder and a compact. The compact does not have any powder. The lipstick holder is unique. It is a square holder and still has an old lipstick holder in it. The lipstick opens by using the outside opener. I was able to get it to open but it took some effort. Overall this compact is in good condition. There are some very slight scratches on the outside of the compact but they absolutely do not detract from the look. The lipstick will not stay flat as cannot get the underlying metal piece to lay flat. IT measures 5 1/2 inches wide and 3 inches tall. The mesh handle is 5 inches.
